And an improved sense of self-worth. Probably more money! And inevitably your partner would find somebody within the first 3-4 days, and begin a tumultuous sexual relationship. They would be having sex a lot in your bed when you were dead! The morning, the afternoon, the evening, and the night time would be the main times they would be having sex, in your bed, when you were dead. Feeding each other lobster with their bare hands, to give each other more energy.”

This is actually, and I am not kidding you, the rationale for the (batshit conservative) New Hampshire legislature overriding the governor’s veto on a bill that basically allows you to shoot anyone you feel is “threatening” you. One of the legislators, and I swear I’m not making this up, said the bill is about making private citizens “more responsible” for their own safety.

Which means, I guess, if you don’t have a gun and someone robs you, rapes you, or tries to kill you, it’s your own fucking fault for not taking responsibility for yourself and arming yourself and your entire family.

I hate Republicans.
